Question 1

What turf should I use?

Accepted Answer

It comes down to sun, traffic and how much maintenance you want. We'll recommend based on the actual block rather than what's easiest to source — a shaded Blue Mountains yard and a full-sun Western Sydney backyard want different things, and getting it wrong means a lawn that struggles no matter how it's laid.

Question 2

How long before it's usable?

Accepted Answer

Keep off it as much as possible for the first two to three weeks while it roots, and water it properly through that window — that period decides whether it takes. We'll walk you through exactly what's needed before we leave.

Question 3

Can you do it before a sale or open home?

Accepted Answer

That's the most common reason we're asked. New turf is one of the highest-impact things you can do to a property before it's photographed. Tell us the listing date and we'll schedule so it's established enough to look right on the day.

Question 4

Our house is only a few years old — what actually needs maintaining?

Accepted Answer

Presentation rather than repair, mostly, and that's what nearly all our Jordan Springs work is. Newer stock means very little structural work, but rendered walls, driveways and paths mark quickly, courtyard gardens get away from you fast, and gutters fill faster than people expect for a new estate because of how heavily the estate is planted.

Question 5

Why do new-estate gutters fill up so fast?

Accepted Answer

The estate planting and the wetland corridor. Jordan Springs was landscaped densely from the start, and those trees are now mature enough to drop properly, so gutters here need clearing on a similar cycle to a much older suburb despite the houses being new. We photograph what comes out so you can see it wasn't a wasted visit.

Question 6

Do you work on the community common areas as well as private blocks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The master-planned layout means substantial shared parks, paths and landscaped areas, and we do community-association and strata grounds work alongside private homes — often on the same round, which keeps the cost down for everyone.
