Question 1

Will it damage my driveway or deck?

Accepted Answer

Not the way we do it. Damage comes from too much pressure or the wrong nozzle for the surface, and it's permanent — etched concrete and furred timber can't be undone. We match the pressure to the surface, which sometimes means the job takes longer than someone with a wand on full noise would take.

Question 2

Do you need my water and power?

Accepted Answer

Generally yes, an outside tap and a power point. Tell us if the property's vacant with the water off and we'll sort it. On strata sites we'll work with whatever the building has.

Question 3

How long does a driveway take?

Accepted Answer

A standard double driveway and path is usually a couple of hours, longer if there's heavy oil or lichen that needs treatment and dwell time. We'll give you a real number when we quote.

Question 4

How long before it looks dirty again?

Accepted Answer

On bare concrete, faster than you'd like — a shaded south-facing driveway can green up again within a year. Treating the mould rather than just blasting it buys you considerably longer, and sealing buys you longer again.

Question 5

Can you do it while tenants or residents are there?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's noisy and wet so we give notice, work around parked cars and access, and on strata sites we'll schedule around bin days and peak movement.

Question 6

What's the most common job you do in Cambridge Gardens?

Accepted Answer

Lawns and the general catch-up list. The estate went in from the late 1970s and a lot of it is still owner-occupied and long-held, which means established gardens that have grown past what was planned and a repair list that's built up quietly over years. The catch-up before a sale is a job we do here often.

Question 7

Can you get a mower into a back yard with narrow side access?

Accepted Answer

Usually. Plenty of blocks here have a gate barely wide enough, so tell us when you book and we'll bring the right machine rather than turning up with something that won't fit. If the gate itself is the problem we can widen or rehang it while we're there.

Question 8

Do you take the green waste away?

Accepted Answer

Included as standard on lawns and garden work. On a full reset the volume is usually the biggest part of the job, so it's priced in rather than sprung on you at the end. We don't leave a pile on the nature strip.
