Question 1

Do you do two-storey properties?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Two-storey and awkward access is normal work. Where a roof is unsafe to walk — brittle tiles, steep pitch, damaged sheeting — we'll tell you rather than risk it, and there's usually another way to get it done.

Question 2

Do you check the roof while you're there?

Accepted Answer

We have a look and photograph anything obvious — slipped or cracked tiles, lifted sheeting, damaged flashing, rusted valleys. It's not a formal roof inspection and we won't pretend it is, but you'd rather know.

Question 3

Do you take the mess away?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything's bagged and removed and the gardens and paths get cleaned up. A contractor who leaves a pile of wet leaves on your lawn hasn't finished the job.

Question 4

My gutters overflow even when they're clean. Why?

Accepted Answer

Usually one of three things: a blocked downpipe or underground line, a gutter that's lost its fall and holds water in the middle, or a gutter that's simply undersized for the roof area in heavy rain. We'll work out which and tell you what it'd take to fix it.

Question 5

Can I get a report for the owner?

Accepted Answer

That's standard. Photos of the gutters before, what came out, the finished result, and anything we found that needs attention. It's exactly the sort of thing that justifies a small maintenance spend to an owner who can't see the property.

Question 6

Do you do the shared driveways in the Jamisontown villa complexes?

Accepted Answer

We clean shared driveways and common-area concrete in Jamisontown. We'll discuss resident access and suitable booking times with the manager, and provide completion photos.

Question 7

Why does the concrete here go green so quickly?

Accepted Answer

Proximity to the Nepean and the shaded, damp side of a lot of these blocks. Algae, moss and lichen re-establish faster in Jamisontown than they do a few kilometres inland, which is why we tend to recommend a scheduled wash rather than waiting until it looks bad and paying for a heavy clean.

Question 8

Can you work through a strata defect list rather than one job at a time?

Accepted Answer

That's how we prefer to do it. Send the list in whatever format you already use, we scope and price it line by line, work through it, and report back in the same structure with each item photographed as it's closed out, so it can go straight to an owner or a meeting without rewriting.
