Question 1

Do you do two-storey properties?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Two-storey and awkward access is normal work. Where a roof is unsafe to walk — brittle tiles, steep pitch, damaged sheeting — we'll tell you rather than risk it, and there's usually another way to get it done.

Question 2

Do you check the roof while you're there?

Accepted Answer

We have a look and photograph anything obvious — slipped or cracked tiles, lifted sheeting, damaged flashing, rusted valleys. It's not a formal roof inspection and we won't pretend it is, but you'd rather know.

Question 3

Do you take the mess away?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything's bagged and removed and the gardens and paths get cleaned up. A contractor who leaves a pile of wet leaves on your lawn hasn't finished the job.

Question 4

My gutters overflow even when they're clean. Why?

Accepted Answer

Usually one of three things: a blocked downpipe or underground line, a gutter that's lost its fall and holds water in the middle, or a gutter that's simply undersized for the roof area in heavy rain. We'll work out which and tell you what it'd take to fix it.

Question 5

Can I get a report for the owner?

Accepted Answer

That's standard. Photos of the gutters before, what came out, the finished result, and anything we found that needs attention. It's exactly the sort of thing that justifies a small maintenance spend to an owner who can't see the property.

Question 6

Do you do commercial and industrial work around the Erskine Park estate?

Accepted Answer

Grounds, exterior washing, bin areas, common concrete and general small repairs, yes. We work around operating hours and loading dock movement rather than expecting a site to stop for us. Anything requiring a licensed trade or working at height beyond our scope, we say so up front.

Question 7

What do Erskine Park homes usually need?

Accepted Answer

The residential stock is mostly late-80s and 90s brick, so it's fencing, gates, roller doors, pergolas, gutters and the general small repair list. The ridge position means the newer streets catch a fair bit of wind, which is hard on gates, screens and anything not properly anchored.

Question 8

Can you get out here quickly?

Accepted Answer

It's a straight run for us out through St Clair, so yes. We aim to respond promptly and will confirm booking availability after reviewing the job. If it's urgent, ring rather than emailing and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.
