Question 1

Do you take the green waste?

Accepted Answer

Yes, included. On a full reset the volume is usually the biggest part of the job, so it's priced in rather than sprung on you afterwards.

Question 2

Can you maintain it after the reset?

Accepted Answer

That's the sensible way to do it. A reset then a cycle costs far less over a couple of years than a reset every eighteen months. We'll suggest a realistic interval based on what's actually growing, which is usually seasonal rather than monthly.

Question 3

Will you know what to keep and what to pull?

Accepted Answer

In an overgrown garden, mostly yes, but we'd rather ask than guess. If there's anything you want kept, tell us or mark it. We won't remove an established plant without checking first.

Question 4

How long does a neglected garden take?

Accepted Answer

Depends on the size and how long it's been. Half a day for a tidy that's slipped, two or three days for a property that's been vacant a year with a yard to match. We'll give you a real number after we've looked at it.

Question 5

Do you work on the properties backing onto the golf course?

Accepted Answer

Regularly. Leonay Golf Course runs right through the suburb so a lot of blocks back onto it, which usually means a well-kept rear boundary, mature trees overhanging, and an expectation that the garden matches what's over the fence. Hedging, edging and gutters are the recurring three.

Question 6

Leonay blocks are sloped — does that change the price?

Accepted Answer

It changes the time, so yes, it can. A sloped block takes longer to mow safely, green waste has to be carried further, and access for anything bulky is harder. We price on what the block actually is rather than a flat suburban rate, and we'll tell you what's driving the number.

Question 7

Can you do work at a property while we're away?

Accepted Answer

All the time. Most of our work happens with nobody home. We photograph before and after and send it through, so you can see exactly what was done without taking anyone's word for it.
